, Innsbruck Alpine Convention Shaping Sustainable Tourism Mobility in the Alpine Region

Sustainable tourism mobility is gaining momentum as destinations face challenges like overtourism and traffic congestion, impacting both visitor experience and local quality of life. This event offers a platform to explore current developments and practical solutions in areas such as destination mobility management, the integration of sustainable transport into tourism offers, and cross-sectoral cooperation for climate-friendly mobility — in line with the Alpine Convention’s Climate Action Plan 2.0 and the goals of THE PEP.

Held back-to-back with the  7th EUSALP Mobility Conference on “Mobility transition in the Alpine Region: sustainable, energy-efficient, multimodal”, the event invites participants to engage with international and regional experts, discover innovative concepts, and exchange ideas on effective implementation strategies.
