Gerald Klug appointed as special advisor for cross-border railway matters Mobility Minister Peter Hanke: "Gerald Klug combines political know-how and extensive expertise in the railway sector"

Mobility Minister Peter Hanke is expanding his advisory circle to include Gerald Klug, the CEO of Graz-Köflacher Bahn and Busbetrieb GmbH (GKB). Klug will support the Ministry of Mobility in future as a special advisor for cross-border railway matters. This area is increasingly gaining importance due to the significance of international passenger and freight transport.
Mobility Minister Peter Hanke emphasises: "Gerald Klug himself has held various government positions and is therefore aware of the challenges we face daily. He possesses extensive expertise in the railway sector, which he acquired as CEO of Graz-Köflach Bahn, along with political know-how. His contribution is invaluable to my team of advisors, particularly in terms of the expansion and sustainability of cross-border railway transport. I am very grateful for his insights and support!"
Gerald Klug will remain the CEO of GKB and will additionally take on the advisory role for the Ministry of Mobility on a voluntary basis.
