Agreements with other investigation bodies on cooperation in civil aviation safety investigations

The aim of these agreements is to promote cooperation in the field of air accident investigation and the exchange of information and expertise between investigation authorities in accordance with the standards and recommendations set out in Annex 13 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation (the Chicago Convention).

Railways

Agreement between the Federal Safety Investigation Authority and the Supreme Railway Authority

This agreement contains provisions in accordance with Article 8(3) of   Delegated Regulation (EU) 2018/761 (EUR-Lex) for cooperation between the Federal Safety Investigation Authority and the Supreme Railway Authority. The aim of the agreement is to promote communication and cooperation in order to ensure the most efficient and smooth operation possible in the service of improving railway safety.
